My Chromiac Knight

This Lomography Fisheye Chromiac Edition is my new knight! decked out with fantastic silvery, glittery armor and a round eyeball on top, this is by far the sexiest Lomo I’ve laid my eyes on. I obtained this precious one on sale at a UO store in downtown DC near Georgetown and took it out on an excursion to Revere Beach. It’s superb!!! Contrary to my Princess Diana, it uses a regular 35mm film instead of the pricey 120mm film rolls. I’m lovin’ it!

Summer in Boston

School has let out and you can feel the heat on the street as you walk down Commonwealth Ave. Flowers have bloomed during the springtime but these ones I found in front of the Tsai Auditorium are fairly new to me. Aren’t these lovely.
Oh how time flies like an arrow! This will be my third summer in boston and this time with full engagement in my research and teaching. Summer has already begun.

新系のアートの虎

最近知り合ったマッピさんのポソコン絵の虎。最初にこれを見せられたとき、可愛いな、愛しいなって思ってました。何よりも、私にはパソコンで絵を描く忍耐力なんかないし（油で描くのが増しですよね）、最初はビックリでした。
虎と言うと、一番思い出せるのは私の母親だけど、この虎はどの角度から見てもお母さんのイメージとはちょっと違う。だからもっと新鮮って言うか、マッピさんの愉快なキャラクタ-とかぶっていて、この虎を見ると良い気分になります。私もそういう良い気分を人に与える人になりたいなって思ってました。今年が虎の年だったため、マッピさんが一生懸命描いたそうです。

Quiet Pastime

Lectureship interviews, teaching preps, grant proposals and applications, academic papers for publications and conferences, policy briefs, new literature and book reviews, networking, kanji studies...all for dissertation.

And then a few moments away from it all.
